About Third Culture Child 

Founded in 2023, Third Culture Child is an independent textile label exploring heritage craft, textile art, and the continuation of traditional textile practices, exploring how these techniques can be carried forward and interpreted through a contemporary lens.

 

The circle is a recurring symbol within the universe of Third Culture Child, representing continuity, wholeness, and the connection between people, cultures, and craft across generations and places.

 

Pieces are folded, bound, and dyed by hand using resist techniques, natural dyes and low-impact synthetic dyes. Each process creates organic patterns and variations, making every piece one of one, a singular textile collectible made to be lived with and cherished.
